We've Made it to the End!
Congratulations beautiful humans! We have made it to the end of another school year. Finals week is next week and I could not be more excited for this summer. The weather the past couple of weeks has made it so hard to attend classes and complete assignments. All I want to do is go on walks and lay outside. It really feels like summer. I have begun to move out of my apartment and I have virtually no food left to eat. Moving out of an apartment requires so much more effort than moving out of a dorm. I have to bring home dishes, pots, pans, cleaning supplies, apartment decor and more. I have exams on Monday and Tuesday of next week and then I am done.
However, I will have no time to relax at all. My summer course starts next Monday and it is a fast-paced course that is only six weeks long. In addition, I leave for Germany the following Monday. I will somehow need to move home, get ahead on my summer course and pack for Germany next week. I'm slightly stressed. I need to figure out what suitcase to bring and how to pack for traveling abroad. I am quite sad I will not be able to tell you all about Germany. Hopefully you can travel there someday as well.
I will be in Germany until June 2nd and then I will begin my summer internship. I am beyond excited to have a full-time internship this summer. I will have the opportunity to learn more about marketing, public relations, architecture, real estate, interior design and how to implement an effective marketing strategy. If I enjoy this internship and if the employees see me as a valuable addition to the company, I hope to receive an offer for a full-time position following graduation.
It is crazy to think I will be a senior in a couple weeks. I will have to start figuring out senior photos, capstone, where I want to live after I graduate, what type of job I want and more. What are you worried, stressed or excited about this summer? Are you traveling, working, doing nothing or doing something else? It has been amazing to get to know all of you this semester and enjoy these random pictures from this semester!
Hi Rachel! Good luck with your senior year, I hope it's an amazing one! Also good luck on finals next week, and safe travels back home this summer.
